Hello again, so it Merdeka today. Did any of you woke up to a different morning feel? Ok not talking about the eve party that caused you hangover and all. Lol. Well I woke up to a pretty disappointing news in the local newspapers. Only yesterday we spoke about 1Malaysia all over the live telecast and on the radio stations (even in my blog). Our politicians claimed that having good education is what made us who we are today. So lets be proud of being a Malaysian!!!! SO NOT..!!
WTF man..!! How can anyone deny anyone to the right of having education?? Its so stupid to wake up and get news like that. This morning news were posted that a seventeen year old girl, Juana Johnson has been literally kicked out of school BECAUSE her parents are not registered as Malaysians. SO WHAT?? Does it make a difference if her parents were Malaysian or not?? Juana Johnson is most certainly Malaysian.
Mr. Minister of Education of Malaysia, sorry to say is a DOOFBAG himself. I might get arrested for sedition but I dont fucking care. Its pretty obvious isnt it that Juana was born in Malaysia and has been a malaysian all her life. Why deny her to education now when the bloody Jabatan Pendidikan allowed her to sit for her UPSR and PMR exams??
What are the ministry or education trying to do?? Applying for cheap publicity?? What happens now? Why make a mockery out of their department?? Its moments and issues like this that makes me embarrassed of the country I am from. Why cant the government of Malaysia be more like the Americans or the British or why go so far we should be more like the Indonesians for this when it comes to education. (I dont wanna bring anything else up)
What I mean is that in countries such as I mention above, the moment a child reaches a certain age, it doesnt matter whether he/she is from that country origin or not, the child is given education and a proper not some paria ones mind you. Thats the most important thing for an individual at that point of their lives.
So today we claimed we have 52 years of independence. We live in harmony. Its actually 52 years of learning how to eat each other up as most of we malaysians are saddist. We feed on other people's misery. It becomes a laughing stock when we see the downfall of another being. Why is this so? Because we were brought up that way. Our forefathers started it, grandfathers practiced it, our fathers showed it to us and now here we are, doing the same thing all over again. 52 years of utter hypocracy and thats 1Malaysia for you. 1Malaysia which trully is the only ONE country or shall I say, ONE country govern by people who denies other people their rights to anything.

1Malaysia? What's that?

1MALAYSIA

Last week a couple of my friends and I ended up hanging out in a big playground cum park somewhere in Bangsar. After sometime of hanging out and taking nonsense, some new guy we just met at the park came up with the 1Malaysia concept. Well that dude was obviously drunk and was getting to my nerves. From the way a certain people speak or carry themselves we can know what they are actually implying or trying to say. This one was trying to show that he's too smart.
However that night, by being mr-know-it--all, that dude made the biggest mistake by asking me what I think bout the concept and before I can even finish he cut me through. Thats a big no no man. So what do I think of 1Malaysia? Hmm interesting. I think its utter bullshit!! A bunch of hypocrites trying to instill patriotism in an already dying "semangat merdeka" community?? A political figure trying to save his own ass by bringing up what his father introduced half a century ago and claiming its all his idea??
If you were to ask me, I'll say 1Malaysia was what malaysians were exactly 52 years ago. Right before independence. Where the malays, chinese and indians live as one. Living in the village as a whole eco-system of their own. It never really was a dog eat dog world. Everyone were what you called family these day. Sincerity in lending a helping hand not wanting anything in return.
Merdeka spirit. Hahaha its like a laughing matter now. Youngsters use the excuse of wanting to celebrate independence day to go out partying. Do they even know what independence day mean?? Drive down to Sunway Pyramid tonight and take a walk down the road where all the clubs are. As it strikes midnight, you can hear all the spinning djs immediately doing countdowns, playing "Tanggal 31" and shit. Everyone will be just so drunk that mostly what you gonna hear are those african american students or any other forreigners for that matter shouting out "MERDEKA MERDEKA and MERDEKA".
Please la people, stop making us look like fools whenever independence day nears by. Stop commercialising and ,making it turn into another one of those money making mumbo jumbo day. I myself for one do not appreciate Merdeka as I feel there is no use. In order to achive independence there must be unity. As years goes by unity in the people of our nation are suppose to be growing stronger but look at us?? Cant even have a concert without stepping on each other's toes.
Who are we kidding when we say we are united as one?? We were once united but that wall of unity is going down the drain. Lets thank our every giving politician for that. Politicians who are always the first to give in a helping hand whenever citizens of other countries get into trouble, also who are the same politicians who fail to see that problems in our own nation that are going on everyday. My dad always told me, "clean your own shit first before you can comment on others' toilet bowl". I guess these public figures never met my dad.
So back to the 1Malaysia concept. Do you think its worth talking about since we already know the outcome? You tell me.
The dude at the park who brought this up had nothing to say as he quickly changed the topic to how to roll a proper joint, the right amount and the length. FARK him..!!
So people 1Malaysia is just another vision that existed 50 years ago and has died as time creeped by. Lets thank our beloved minister who has brought it up thinking people wouldnt realise that it was not really his idea. Gosh and people say so much about plagarism. Happy Merdeka everyone. For those of you who have lied to your parents saying that you're trully out to celebrate independence day, THUMBS UP..!! Just know that your parents are not that dumb..!! Again drive safely on your way back home as policemen with the semangat kemerdekaan, who are ever so concern bout the citizens of Malaysia are all scheming on how to make money out of you guys tonight.

It was 7pm and I was woken up from sleep as I felt guilty that I haven finished up the schedule for talent's upcoming gigs..so..I came online..and this is what happened..=)

Ok during his 5 minutes of shutting up I manage to read his "message to everyone"..I must say he can write IF he wants to..!! This is what it was


When you have the opportunity to wake up at 5pm on a Wednesday evening not knowing what to do next, you'll probably hop on your favorite couch to Facebook again.At that one corner of your mind you have "Dude you're on the loose, the people are gonna come get you because you're not doing anything like everyone else is, duuuudddeeee stop!". You must beware of mind-clogging head-spam,When the truth is just a wild imagination;Right after fitting yourself in between the lines,You'll know the melody to rejuvenation.Yes I'm working right now and my job is to wait till I get on stage again. While waiting, I plot the core ideas and wait. While I wait the second "wait", I WRITE songs. Nebula ft. Ray Cheong @ The Ultimate Music Bash

On the August 18th 2009, Sunway University College hosted The Ultimate Music Bash (more of a talent time thingy) and guess what? My talent, Ray Cheong was in it. Helping out his friend's band, Nebula.

Night starteed off with wonderful performances and throughout the night it was pretty awesome. From saxaphonist, to beat-boxers, to amazing dancers and beautiful singers. What else can you ask for. Nothing that night was bad. But, not to be bias or anything the climax of the whole event reach the top the moment NEBULA came out to perform. Crowd went crazy..!!

Kudos..!! As for my man, Ray, you made me a very happy manager. I cannot be more proud than I am now. You just made my night. You made me tear, that shows that I felt your music and it touched my heart. Pretty sure everyone else felt the same.

Just that day again

I woke up this morning feeling very happy. Probably its the good peaceful sleep I had last night. Then as the day pass I started thinking of him. If he was still around it would be 3 years and 9 months. Time sure pass quickly. I know I am happy and not wallowing but somehow I want him with me right now. Just need that safe feeling in me again. To know that everything's gonna be fine. Oh baby, I love you so much.
Honestly I wonder why did you have to leave so fast. Would it had make any difference if you went to the hospital earlier? All that time you used to talk to me till I slept off. If only you weren't so tired maybe you would have gone to the hospital a day earlier and who knows maybe that ONE day would have lead to a different ending. Well its all "what if" now. I miss you dearly. Holidays that we have spent together. Lame jokes we shared and all those stupid arguements we have had.
It may not make a difference on what I say but I just wanna say it out loud that I am so happy and proud to say that I have had you in my life and am so grateful for that. I wouldnt even dream of exchanging any of our memories for all the treasures in the world. You thought how to love and how to accept myself for who I am. You made me realise that I deserve to be loved. You made me feel like I am on top of the world all the time.
Well its all just memories now, memories that I'll cherish in me all the time. I had the chance to love and be loved by the sweetest person ever. I love you. Wherever you may be, know that I am down here thinking of you and also pulling through each day I am down by the thought of you in my mind. Rest well my love. I love you.

JAMMING..!!

OMG OMG OMG I knew that Ray's band was good just didnt expect them to be that good..!! I tagged along as manager for the first time yesterday..and GOSH am proud of the trio..Ray Cheong, Ashwin Gobinath and Zaim Zaidee..!!!

We went to the same jamming studio and guess what was the first thing Ray said when he came down from the studio?? "Eh eh Ella up stairs wei..!! Ella, you know Ella?? She damn hot wei!! Ahahahahahahha fucker..!!" Well yea we were jamming in the same place and she seems like a really nice person. Sounds at the studio was actually quite bad and its amazing MY guys made it sound so good..!! Zaim was the man..!! Hahaha he played everything so well..Ash, I think am in love with his hands..!! Hahahah goofing around as his drums sounded the worst..and as for Ray aka Ray-gay aka Monkey boy..its impossible not to fall for his sense of music..

All I can say is am so proud of them..there is so much potential in each and everyone of them and yet there is still room for improvement. As manager, I am so happy I am with them..check them out in www.youtube.com/stingeray under Ray Ash Trio..!!

Its that time again

Well it seems like only yesterday I was waiting for him to arrive at the airport..was in daze at that point of time..so super happy and high to see him again..only to have my hopes dashed when all he came back for was to only leave me for good this time around. That was the anger in me at that point of time. Its been a year now. I dont hate him that much anymore as at least he gave me the chance to spend his last moments in this world together. I love you Carlson Kyne Joseph. I love every single bit of you.

Ray Cheong

Hey people..like I have stated in my previous post, am sorry am not able to blog as much as I used to because I have a very tight schedule..*hahaha as if*...LOL well yea thats the truth and here's one of the reason why..I am officially managing Ray Cheong.
What I can say about Ray is that he's a real good friend and a talented person and I never even thought of ever being his manager but after some brain storming session we realised that in order to achieve our personal goals we needed each other. I have what he needs and he has exactly what I want so together we'll just work something out that benefits both parties.
Managing comes along with alot of patience and hardwork. Therefore there is no time to goof around if we want things to get going inthe right way..Well enough bout this managing thing...Lets just head off about my talent that I am managing, Ray Cheong.

Ray Cheong has a voice as true as a bell, as oddly world-weary as a Charlie Chaplin smile, as broken as a heart. The world if we read the rave reviews on this fast emerging singer-songwriter, will fall in love with this unmistakable voice soon enough. Although his "soulful ways" are constantly being associated with big names like John Mayer and Ben Harper of the United States, Ray begs to differ as he feels that he portrays music in a whole different way.Being inspired to sing and to be musically inclined since small, this young lad from an island called Penang in Malaysia have performed on numerous stages which makes him anything but a stranger in the music scene. So it was the 1st of August 2009 and the much awaited day arrived..!! Its the launch of New Straits Times youth WAP portal that we're been working on for the pass few months..

U-PHORIA embodies the spirits of "young 1Malaysia", and provides a platform for all youngsters (under the age of 30) to interact, contribute and exchange infomations also not to forget to air opinions on a host of different topics that are relevant and pretinent to their daily lives. This site is run by a group of young talented and motivated youth, selected under the New Straits Times youth developement programme, as mobile journalist or more widely known as MoJos.

Here, youth unite as one to bring you the latest on cool chill out places, their take on good food/books/and movies, and what they think of event and happenings that take place in our nation and in our community.
